Municipalities from across Alberta have written the provincial government requesting a renewable energy expert panel to examine renewable energy policy in Alberta.

To date, the following municipalities have sent letters:

• Edmonton
• Grande Prairie
• High Prairie 
• Leduc
• Lethbridge
• Northern Lights (MD) 
• Peace River
• Red Deer
• Rocky Mountain House
• St Paul 
• Vulcan
